We’re just one day away from our Kölsch Style Service of mega-collab MPLS LEGEND Kölsch! Join us Saturday June 21st, 1-3PM.

We brewed this beer with a little help from our buddies at @arbeiterbrewing, @backchannelbrewing, @insightbrewing, and @vennbrewing honoring our friend, brother, business partner, and favorite bassist Tom Berg, who was taken from us April 5th. Tom was a LEGEND to all who met him, and he was beer geek who greeted everyone with a smile and someone who loved our beer community.

Tom wanted to brew up a classic Kölsch for its drinkability, subtle complexity, and most importantly, community. It the was the last beer style he couldn’t stop talking about making.

So to honor him we will be doing a Kölsch Style Service in a few tap rooms in the city to bring us together for some good times. Not familiar? It’s like eating at a Brazilian Steakhouse. We’ll be walking around with full Stanges (also available for sale), bringing you beer until you tell our Kölsch Servers that you’re contented. Can’t make it Saturday? The collaborating breweries will have upcoming Kölsch services of their own, with their own take on MPLS LEGEND. You’ll also see a limited run of 4-packs for you to crack open, toast Tom, and revel in his love of beer and community, one can at a time.

Here’s a little digital taste of what’s to come:

A Warm nose of apples and bright flower from noble hops (donated by the crew at @HollingberryHops) and a familiar Kölsch Yeast, (provided by our friends at @Arbeiterbrewing) welcomes you like good times past when you first raise your glass of MPLS LEGEND Kölsch. Weyermann Pilsner and Cologne malts give this true-to-style brew a light tan color and a velvety smooth body that’s well suited for summer gatherings with cool friends.

And just like years past, A mystery movie screening from the depths of the @cinemaofthemacabre vault kicking off around 9. And We’ll be pouring plenty of boo-s to keep everyone cool, and our buddies @wrecktanglepizzamn will be serving up slices. Trust us, it’s gonna be killer!

The NBA Draft is a night filled with wild possibilities—for players, teams, and fans. Next Wednesday, we’re teaming up with the @nopantscrunch crew to throw an epic Draft Party and celebrate it all!

The Nate, Jordan and Brandon are going live with their fun, fan-first takes on the Wolves’ picks, draft drama, and maybe even some KD trade buzz. We’re keeping it exciting with a @sglambchops pop-up, @wrecktanglepizzamn slices, plus activities between picks where you could score a signed pic of "legend" Cole Aldrich or listen to cursed mashups. Who knows what will happen! We do know you’ll be laughing, snacking, and living your best life all night!

Get ready to draft some good vibes next Wednesday in the back taproom from 6 to 10 as we watch who sits in the Green Room for an uncomfortably long time, judge draft day wardrobes, soak in all the chaos and SO MUCH MORE!

Part of the post-Wolves playoff run return to a normal schedule, is uninteruppted Trivia Mafia and @theinitialsgamelive action to take you to the weekend! Want to play the classic and best bar trivia? Join us on Wednesdays at 7:30. Looking to venture into the new and the bold? We were the original spot for the new Initials Game Live and have kept it going every Thursday at 7:30.

We've even taken care of dinner with our Wresident food truck, Wrecktangle Pizza. Come have fun, share slices with your teammates, compete for kick-ass prizes (there's beer shots involved), and form life-long rivalries against other Wizards of the Brain!

Goodness, that was a sprint! Between block parties and Wolves games, we haven't had a "normal" taproom week in a long time. We've got a lot going on this week, so come on out and join us!

All Sunshine, our 100% Hand-Selected Citra-Hopped Hazy Double IPA, makes its return on Friday to the joy of its cultlike obsessives. It's really that good! We'll have it on tap and available To Go on Friday with a limited supply heading out to liquor stores, bars and restaurants next week.

We've got a private event taking over the entire taproom this evening, starting at 6 pm. If you want that post-work beverage or to grab some 4-packs for the road to the cabin, we're open to the public at 2 until we shut it down around 5:45.

Want to throw your own FKBC Party? Take the opportunity to throw a happy hour for friends coming into town, snag the whole back room for your Groom's Dinner or rent the entire taproom out for an all staff meeting. We can accommodate groups of any size up to 149 people, and have catering partners on-hand to take care of the food for a hassle-free experience.
